The PowerGirl Network Division of SGP Organization, a not for profit 501(c)3, provides much needed health and wellness information to young women in three age categories, middle school, high school and college & career. This division connects young urban women with the information and tools they need to be successful in life.  Participation in PowerGirl Network activities is open to any young woman within these age categories without regard to race or religion.

The PowerGirl Network will provide participating students with exposure to successful professional women through our PowerGirl on the Move initiative.  This program brings young women to the workplace of professional women during the work week so that they can experience what it takes to achieve at that level.  It allows for informal mentoring of the young women, giving dedicated career women an opportunity to connect with urban young women in a way that doesn’t detract from their often heavy work responsibilities.

The PowerGirl Network participates in three special events during the year for the community.  The PowerGirl "Success Symposium", The Teen Health Seminar, and The Back to School Leadership Lunch & Fashion Show.  Our goal is to inform and inspire young women to live successful and healthy lives.  When available, please click on the "Events" page to view the details of the current special event.
